Cables

MI Cable

Mineral Insulated thermocouples are a form of thermocouple manufactured from cable consisting of matched thermocouple wires typically insulated by magnesium oxide and having an integral outer sheath.

These Thermocouple have several advantages over convention thermocouples.

Typical of these are long length up to 100mtrs are possible. long life, quick response, ease to fabricate.

Available in 1mm, 1.5mm, 3mm, 4.5mm, 6mm, 8mm.

Simplex and duplex type with outer 316 Inconel 600 grade etc. maximum temperature of up to 1200°C.

Compensation Cables

There are multiple types and grades of thermocouple wire. Each type of thermocouple wire has a specific combination of metal alloys. This combination is what defines the type of thermocouple. Compensation cables are connecting cables with conductors made of materials which only in a limited temperature range have the same thermoelectric properties as the thermocouple itself.
